I like books, but havent found any good about the topic search engine dev/data mining...

The two classic books in Information Retrieval/Search Engine Development is “Modern Information Retrieval†and “Managing Gigabytes†if you want the theory. For a more practical approach you shod look at “Lucene in Actionâ€.
