I like books, but havent found any good about the topic search engine dev/data mining...

Do you have any suggestion?

The two classic books in Information Retrieval/Search Engine Development is “Modern Information Retrieval” and “Managing Gigabytes” if you want the theory. For a more practical approach you shod look at “Lucene in Action”.


Have you read the “Essential reading” thread: http://www.sirdf.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2 ? Some god suggestions on reading materials there.
